In the Middle East, the sun-ripened dates are harvested in October to November, when the dates have got a nice, yellow-orange color. They hang in the top of the palms in large bunches of stems. Dried organic dates are particularly popular in December in Denmark when we are going to have Christmas fun. There is good reason, because the dried dates have a natural caramel-like sweetness that in itself tastes like the most beautiful Christmas confection right out of the bag. But of course we believe that dates are the perfect, natural snack all year round.
Enjoy our organic dates in "Family Size" with both friends and family. They can be enjoyed straight out of the bag, in cakes, desserts or as part of the tapas table with dry, salted cheeses.
The product packaging consists of a foil and label made of plastic from the same family, which allows the entire packaging to be recycled together. The foil is made of 43% bio-based material and we thereby reduce our CO2 emissions by just under a ton a year. We use a 2-layer foil which protects the product so that we maintain a long shelf life and also reduce food waste.
