Veggie burgers

with veggie steak, avocado, hummus and grilled squash

  • 1 package Earth Control Veggie Burgers
  • 4 pcs. burger buns (alternatively sliders)
  • 1 portion ready-made hummus
  • 4 tbsp. good mayonnaise
  • 1 pcs. zucchini
  • 1 pcs. red onion, cut into fine slices
  • 2 pcs. tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 pcs. avocado, sliced
  • 4 pcs. green, crisp lettuce leaves
  • Possibly 1 handful of fresh pea sprouts


Prepare all the vegetables. Cut squash into wide strips lengthwise and then grill them on the hot pan in olive oil for 3-5 minutes. Make Veggie Steaks according to instructions on the package - shape them according to the size of the burger bun. Warm the burger buns and then butter the hummus on the bottom bun and mayonnaise on the top.

The burger is built from below with salad, veggie steak, grilled squash, slices of tomato, avocado, red onion and finish with pea sprouts before assembling with the top bun.

Tip! You can vary the burger with your favorite filling. Try for example. to make a Mexican vegetarian burger with salsa, guacamole, cheese and crispy tortilla chips.
