Lunch box buns

with apricots & nut mix

Ingredients

  • 50 g butter
  • 200 ml. milk
  • 50 g yeast
  • 1/2 tsb salt
  • 1 tsp. cardamom
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 475 g wheat flour
  • 50 g Earth Control apricots
  • 30 g Earth Control nut mix

Pensling

  • 1 egg

Description

Melt butter and warm milk to room temperature. Put it in a bowl and stir well in the liquid. Add salt, cardamom, honey and eggs to the bowl. Stir together. Add the flour bit by bit and knead the dough well together in a stirrer. Finallly chop the apricots and the nutmix and turn in the dough. Knead again. Leave the lid on the kitchen table for approx. 30 minutes. Share the dough in 12 pcs. and shape for round buns. Put them on a baking sheet and let rise for 30 min. Heat the oven to 200 degrees. Brush the balls with a whipped egg. Bake for approx. 15-20 minutes at 200 degrees.
