Fruit Bars

with cocoa, dates and cashews

  • 175 g Earth Control Dates
  • 70 g Earth Control dry-roasted cashews
  • 1 tsp. peanutbutter
  • 1 organic orange
  • 2 tsp. cocoa powder


Blend the cashews, or finely chop with a knife. Cut the dates into smaller pieces and put them into the blender. Tear orange peel and sqeeze 2 tsp. juice. Place this in the blender with cocoa, peanut butter and cashew nuts. Blend until you have an even mass. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Get the pulp between two baking sheets. Roll it out 1 cm thick with a rolling pin. Refrigerate for at least two hours. Cut into rods. Store in the refrigerator and enjoy in the packed lunch or when you're hungry on the go.
