Falafels

with flatbread

Ingredients

  • 1 package of Earth Control Falafels
  • 2,5 dl. boiling water
  • 1-2 dl. oil for frying

For serving:

  • 2 flatbread
  • 1 large handful of lettuce
  • 1 portion of hummus
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 lemon

Description

Pour 2.5 dl. boiling water in a bowl and add the contents of the Earth Control Falafels. Stir thoroughly and allow to soak for 10 min.

Shape the dough to falafel-size with a teaspoon. Fry for 10 minutes in plenty of oil. Turn them along the way so that they turn golden on all sides.

Heat two flatbreads. Serve flatbread with hummus, fresh salad, cucumber, avocado and hot crispy falafels. Drizzle with a little hummus and lemon juice on top.

Tip: Instead of flat bread, you can also use naan bread, pancakes or pita bread.
