Creamy cashew hummus

with falafels

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of Earth Control falafels
  • 2 bags of Earth Control cashews
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • Juice and shell from 1/2 eco lemon
  • Salt and pepper

Description

Soak the cashews in water for 30-40 minutes.

In a food processor or mini chopper blend tahine, garlic, lemon juice + shell, bell pepper, oil, salt and pepper as well as the soft cashews. Blend thoroughly for 1 minute with breaks until you have a creamy and soft hummus. Cool until used.

Mix the falafel mix with 2.5 dl. boiling water and allow to soak for 10 minutes. Form the falafel farce into small round balls and fry on the pan in olive oil. Turn them around regularly so that they turn golden on all sides.

Serve the crispy falafels together with the finished hummus, cucumber and possibly tomatoes and chili sauce on top.
